PRIME Energy Drink Lemon Lime

Introduction

This is my first PRIME energy drink, but I hear it's all the hype nowadays, so I'm excited to take it out for a spin. I bought a variety pack on Amazon so I'll be reviewing all 5 here in short order.

Appearance

It's a clean, simple can that efficiently conveys the flavor, which I can appreciate.

Taste

Damn, after hearing that PRIME is promoted by KSI and Logan Paul, I didn't expect them to actually come through with a solid energy drink, let alone an excellent one.

The lemon-lime taste mixed with the carbonation level blends to create an amazing flavor profile that instantly hits your taste buds.

The only other lemon-lime energy drinks I can think of are Uptime Original Citrus and Celsius Lemon Lime, and this stacks up with Uptime Original Citrus, which is one of my all time favorites.

Kick

The kick in this drink is nice. I felt the effects almost instantly. PRIME Lemon Lime contains 200mg of caffeine. No sugar, instead with sucralose as the sweetener, and coconut water.

Conclusion

I have to say, I'm genuinely impressed. I get why organizations like the UFC and LA Dodgers are willing to partner with PRIME. If you like lemon-lime, or energy drinks in general, you should check out PRIME Lemon Lime.

Appearance

Green, very green. I like the simplicity of the can and the way the Prime logo stands out. Obviously the Prime cans differ in color more so than design, but it's a nice design.

Taste

Fantastic lemon-lime flavor. The sweetness of the lemon balances with a slight lime tartness. The drink is more refreshing than it should be. Prime Lemon Lime stands apart with a unique take on lemon-lime flavor.

Kick

Prime Lemon Lime has 200mg of caffeine. This is approximately equivalent to two cups of coffee.

Overall

Prime Lemon Lime is one of the top tier lemon-lime flavors on the market. The drink could be quite easily compared to Uptime Original Citrus, a highly rated lemon-lime drink. Both drinks are delicious, though I want to note that the Uptime is more similar to lemon-lime sodas (e.g. Sprite) and Prime is more uniquely focused on strong lemon and lime flavors. Prime Lemon Lime offers a great take on lemon-lime flavor and is worth serious consideration.
