Michelob ULTRA Organic Hard Seltzer with Coconut Water variety pack

Welcome back to another Seltzer Shark review! It’s been a while, so I hope you missed me as much as I missed you.

To set the scene: I was on vacation in Sarasota, Florida, and my buddy Justin and I hit a Publix to stock up and start the trip off right.

Two things caught my eye with this pack. First, the brand: Mich Ultra is a top-three seltzer for me. Second, coconut water, which I don’t love on its own but find great mixed into other drinks. Two things were enough to get me excited, so I grabbed it for the following night.

My friends Justin and Maddie tried a few flavors too, so their takes are included.

Flavor Jared Justin Maddie
Berry Hibiscus 9.1 7.6 –
Blueberry Watermelon 8.4 – –
Strawberry Guava 8.1 – –
Kiwi Lime 6.9 7.1 6.5

Kiwi Lime: 6.9

Not the best intro to the pack. I don’t usually love lime seltzers, and I hoped kiwi would take it to the next level, but it only got it to acceptable-to-decent. The lime is strong, and the kiwi cuts it nicely.

Justin: Good, not great. 7.1. Maddie: Kiwi hits first, lime aftertaste. 6.5.

Berry Hibiscus: 9.1

This one is great. Strong berry flavor with a hint of hibiscus on the finish that ends every sip on a high note.

Justin: Flavor good, mouthfeel average, chuggability great. 7.6.

Blueberry Watermelon: 8.4

A really well-balanced seltzer, and I can’t taste the alcohol at all. Unlike the first two, this one is a more even split between the flavors, slightly favoring blueberry.

Strawberry Guava: 8.1

I love both strawberry and guava, so 8.1 is a little underwhelming given my expectations, but it’s still delicious. Strawberry definitely reigns supreme, with a slight tropical aftertaste.

Verdict

Grab it for Berry Hibiscus and Blueberry Watermelon. The coconut water keeps every flavor smooth without tasting like coconut. More seltzer reviews: Nectar and New Belgium Fruit Smash.
