Appearance
Rowdy did a nice job with the design of this can. It has a matte finish on the label that is unique to the touch. The can is labeled in a similar style to smaller breweries that clearly buy tall aluminum cans and slap their label on it. It makes the can look unique without appearing underdeveloped. The white background with the prominent 3D logo is a nice touch. It avoids being too busy around the primary portion of the label, which is refreshing.
Taste
Cherry Limeade is one of those flavors that I always have high hopes for. Unfortunately, Rowdy dropped the ball on this one. There is no mistaking this flavor for being Cherry Limeade; however, the execution is poor. I found that the more I drank it, the more the tartness took over. Being tart is not inherently bad, although in this case the drink was so tart and/or bitter that it made my throat feel dry. It’s difficult to place exactly why that was the case. The best way to describe it is that refreshing drinks have a light feeling to them and inspire you to keep drinking them. This drink was the opposite of that.

Rowdy Cherry Limeade has 160mg of caffeine. This is approximately equivalent to two cups of coffee.

Cherry Limeade is one of those flavors that is hard to do right, but can be extremely delicious if executed properly. So how did Rowdy do? Not well. Rowdy’s Cherry Limeade was not refreshing, and I struggled to get through the entire drink. Each sip was less inspiring than the last and I felt my throat dry up. It didn’t actually taste awful, though its other qualities were enough to ruin it. It’s a shame too, because the product comes in a fresh and appealing design.
