Introduction

Adrenaline Shoc is probably my favorite brand, and their watermelon flavor does not disappoint. It is full of flavor, and by far my favorite watermelon energy drink. Although it has no caffeine, it still does not have an overly artificial taste to it. With 300mg of caffeine (18.75mg/floz) combined with a bold flavor and fizz upon hitting your tongue, it delivers a wonderful kick. Watermelon beverages usually are bitter and do not impress me, but Adrenaline Shoc Watermelon is incredibly sweet with no resemblance of a bitter aftertaste.

Upside

The taste is the biggest upside of Adrenaline Shoc Watermelon. At 9.7/10, it is one of my highest rated tastes. It is very sweet without having that artificial sweetener taste. Most sugar free beverages with 300mg of caffeine are either too bitter from the caffeine or too sweet from an overcompensation of artificial sweetener to mask the bitterness. Adrenaline Shocs always have the perfect blend in my opinion, and their watermelon edition is no different.

Downside

This is the most difficult beverage for me to determine the downside. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you should not get any 300mg beverage. If you do not like watermelon, you may not enjoy this edition as much as others as well. Besides this, I do not see many downsides.

Upshot

Overall, Adrenaline Shoc Watermelon is a delicious beverage with no apparent downsides. Adrenaline Shoc is easily one of my favorite brands, and this particular flavor is superior to all other watermelon beverages that I have tried. With the bold flavor and strong kick, I recommend this beverage to just about everyone.

Appearance

Adrenaline Shoc diverged from the typical red cans seen on most watermelon flavors. The aqua green is more classy and fits in better with the complex flavor. The black and silver metallic accents add nice contrast. The lack of clutter on the front of the label makes for a pleasing design.

Taste

Watermelon combines the unique bitterness found in all Adrenaline Shoc drinks with the usual watermelon flavor. The watermelon flavor is the artificial kind, as with all energy drinks I’ve had. It is sweet though, and inoffensive. The sweet and tart combo makes the drink difficult to put down.

Kick

Adrenaline Shoc Watermelon has 300mg of caffeine. It is approximately equivalent to 3 cups of coffee.

Overall

Adrenaline Shoc has done it again – adding their bitter formula to well known flavors. It worked pretty well with Fruit Punch, and it works well here with Watermelon. The drink is difficult to put down with its captivating mix of elements. It may not be the most refreshing drink for the summertime, but it’s quite good nonetheless.
