Monster Ultra Peachy Keen, posted to r/energydrinks by u/The_Mull

Reign and parent company Monster have led the charge on energy drink innovation for a while, and it doesn’t look like that’s stopping anytime soon.

Update: Both of the flavors I was most excited about made it to shelves, and both are now in our database.

Over the past year or two, Monster cut some of its weaker sellers, like Ultra Black, Khaos, Ultra Citron, and MIXXD, to make room for new drinks like Khaotic, Reserve Pineapple and Watermelon, Ultra Gold, and more.

Reign, Monster’s high-caffeine brand, has plenty of unique flavors of its own: Inferno Red Dragon, Carnival Candy, Lilikoi Lychee, and White Gummy Bear, to name a few.

Given where both brands are headed, it’s no surprise they have new additions coming. On the r/energydrinks subreddit, u/kingfrugg posted a “New Drink Alert” photo showing three new Monster flavors and one new Reign. u/EriczHype added in the comments that they won’t release until 2022.

The drinks:

  • Monster Ultra Peachy Keen
  • Monster Rehab Watermelon
  • Monster Aussie Style Lemonade
  • Reign Reignbow Sherbet

I’m most excited for Ultra Peachy Keen and Reignbow Sherbet, since I don’t think there’s anything like either on the market. Rehab Watermelon doesn’t excite me as much, but it could be an instant classic considering how good Ultra Watermelon is. And I’m not a huge lemonade guy, so Aussie Style Lemonade doesn’t get me going either.

Update (Nov 23, 2021): On r/energydrinks, u/The_Mull posted the first photo of Monster Ultra Peachy Keen (top of this post).
