The answer is simple. The most underrated energy drink is Bucked Up Blood Raz. Nobody talks about it, nobody knows about it, and it is one of my top five rated energy drinks of all time.

I rated Bucked Up Blood Raz a 9.3 overall with a 9.4 kick and 9.2 taste. It is absolutely delicious and really gets you going. The red raspberry taste is unique for an energy drink, and it doesn’t taste too artificial despite having zero calories. The only place I’ve seen it is inside a GNC, but I’m hoping it makes it to more stores one day.

Bucked Up was created as a pre-workout supplement. Because its primary form is a powder, it’s unlikely to ever go mainstream or find its way into your local convenience store.

Another reason it may never hit regular shelves: the drink contains deer antler velvet, a source of IGF-1, an insulin-like growth factor banned by the NFL, anti-doping agencies, and many others. It isn’t illegal or necessarily harmful, but there’s a reason you won’t find it next to the Monsters.

The FDA suggests that people sensitive to caffeine avoid this type of energy drink in general, and WebMD suggests that people who shouldn’t take testosterone, progesterone, or estrogen avoid deer velvet. If you’re healthy enough to drink Bucked Up Blood Raz responsibly, I guarantee you’ll enjoy it. My full take is on the Blood Raz page.
