Bang isn't afraid to get freaky with its flavor combinations and Purple Guava Pear might be the best example of that. While we can enjoy the creativity, this combination in particular fell short. The color scheme, combination of flavors, and overall can design didn't meet the mark. The drink is not horrible by any means and is still moderately enjoyable although it will not be my first choice to drink again.
Taste
6.2
Bang doesn't shy away from bold and borderline absurd flavors. Just reading "Purple Guava Pear" makes my brain hurt. It tastes just as weird as it sounds. Oddly enough, it does taste like purple flavoring (whatever that is) with some semblance of a pear flavor. Is it a good combination? Not really. It isn't gross by any means, but is primarily just odd. I applaud Bang's efforts to get creative, but sometimes you are going to miss.
Appearance

Bang sticks to a consistent design for most of its drinks and Purple Guava Pear is no exception. The color scheme aligns with the flavor, but similarly the combination is wonky. A fluorescent green/yellow stands out against the purple, albeit not in a good way. The can tab is also a faded red color, which doesn't fit in anywhere with the can and is frankly just puzzling. I've seen better.
Kick

Purple Guava Pear has 300mg of caffeine, as with every Bang drink that I've come across. Personally I am not a fan of all the drinks with 300mg, I find it to be too much (approximately 3 cups of coffee). Regardless, if you're looking for a drink with serious punch this one will do it.
