You would think a fruit punch flavored energy drink would be straightforward and boring. Fruit Punch is anything but boring. I'm still trying to figure out why Adrenaline Shoc numbers all of their flavors. Adding to the mystery are the bitter accents that appear in the flavor. Add in 300mg of caffeine and you have a quirky assembly of components. The beverage is certainly intriguing, and is the best case for a fruit punch flavored drink.

Not all fruit punch flavors are the same. Adrenaline Shoc clearly wasn't satisfied with the usual sweet fruit punch flavor. This drink has an but oddly inconsistent flavor that fluctuates between the typical fruit punch flavor and a distinct bitterness. I'm unsure if the bitterness is the energy blend or a designed part of the flavor. The bitterness is reminiscent of the other Adrenaline Shoc beverage that I've had, making me suspicious that this is a common feature in their flavors. The balance between bitterness and sweetness is quite good, and I believe this is the best case for a fruit punch flavored drink.

I like this can. Adrenaline Shoc has a unique color palette across its brand, and this 04 Fruit Punch can is no exception. It has a slightly lighter and off-color shade of red, with a satin finish. It's an overall clean design with appealing accents such as the black can top. My only gripe is that the satin finish can be kind of slick in your hand.
