Monster Rehab Tea Peach

Not quite good enough to say I’d go out of my way to reach for it again, but if I was feeling fruit tea with a kick, this would be it.

Return to drink overview

Introduction

I’m in the process of trying every energy drink from the bodega next to my house, and this is pretty much the last one before their collection of Bangs. After being traumatized by Birthday Cake Bash, I’ve been hesitant to reach for one again, but it’s almost reckoning time. Onto the actual subject of this review, Monster Peach Tea + Energy, I’m excited. I’ve had a plethora of Monster Teas & Juices recently so I feel like this could be a nice combination of the two.

Taste

7

Monster is so consistent. Just like the dragon teas, this just tastes like really good tea (peach this time, though). I am curious how it would taste with carbonation, but that’s just me being a simp for the bubbles. Solid 7 for taste.

Appearance

5.5

I’ve been spoiled with my last two drinks - Monster Green Tea and Pacific Punch, which have some INSANE cans, so maybe in reality this is higher than 5.5. Whatever, the bar has been raised I guess.

Kick

6

Monster energy blend, 160mg of caffeine, and 4g of sugar, and 25 calories. Nice kick as a friday night pick-me-up.

Conclusion

Not quite good enough to say I’d go out of my way to reach for it again, but if I was feeling fruit tea with a kick, this would be it. An inoffensive 6.5/10 from me.
