Bloom Cherry Lime

It has the consistency of a seltzer that's jacked to the max on flavor, while still feeling relatively healthy (if that's possible).

Return to drink overview

Introduction

I saw this on a random shelf on a Target run, and of course had to scoop up an energy drink that I've never seen. I went home and Googled it, and found out a few things. Bloom is the same Bloom as the viral green juice brand - and it's only available at Target right now! Spoiler alert, but I liked this one so much that I was disappointed to see that Target isn't even selling them in bulk. Single cans only.

Taste

9.1

Woah, it's sweet. Fortunately it's black cherry, which if you've read through my other reviews you'll know is a flavor that can do no wrong in my book. Cherry dominates the flavor profile, with lime as an aftertaste/afterthought.

All that said, it's extremely refreshing and I like the high level of carbonation. It has the consistency of a seltzer that's jacked to the max on flavor, while still feeling relatively healthy (if that's possible).

Appearance

Can is cute. I like the lil fruits on the front, and the purple background color catches the eye.

Kick

9

180mg of caffeine and it's giving me a solid boost as I'm writing this. As I get older I appreciate the mid-level caffeine content drinks, which to me is probably 150-200. This is right in the sweet spot.

Energy blend is unique, described as "Made with zero sugar, natural caffeine, and good-for-you ingredients like prebiotics and lychee."

Conclusion

I love it. Definitely excited to try the other three drinks in the lineup; raspberry lemon, strawberry watermelon, and peach mango.
