Intro
Bang Root Beer Blaze was surprisingly good. I mean, it actually tastes like root beer. Sure, it was a little artificial and a bit sweeter than normal, but it was certainly enjoyable. If you want caffeine and enjoy root beer, this is your drink.
Upside
The main upside is that it is essentially caffeinated root beer. I know some people who do not enjoy energy drinks typically, but like this flavor. The familiarity is a plus, and it is very good compared to most of Bang’s other obscure flavors. With 300mg of caffeine (18.75mg/floz), it delivers the good old Bang kick as well.
Downside
It is nothing special. Root beer is great and all, but I doubt many people would be going out of their way to get this in bulk. It is enjoyable on occasion, but I see how it could easily get tiresome very quickly.
Upshot
It tastes like root beer. Straight up. Again, it may be a bit sweeter than most root beer brands to mask the 300mg of caffeine, but is overall enjoyable. If you want to try an obscure Bang flavor, this is one of the safer options.
