Intro
Adrenaline Shoc is an incredible tasting, smooth zero Calorie energy drink. It packs 300mg per can of caffeine (18.75mg/floz) and delivers a strong kick that lives up to the name “Adrenaline Shoc.” However boring the can may be, Adrenaline Shoc delivers on all other fronts that actually matter.
Upside
When I first start sipping Adrenaline Shoc Smart Energy, I always think it is NOS. NOS original is known for being smooth, and Adrenaline Shoc is a good comp. It is definitely sweeter and has more caffeine than NOS (original), but I would use them in slightly different settings. Adrenaline Shoc to me is used when you need to concentrate without the need to stay calm. If I am doing research and writing a paper, Adrenaline Shoc probably has too great of a kick with too much caffeine to stay calm. When trying to focus on a video game or activity of that nature, this is the perfect beverage. It is delicious, but not bold enough to distract you or detract from what you are doing. It will wake you up for long car rides (what I used it for the first time I tried it) because it will keep you alert and focused for hours. There is not really a noticeable crash either. The taste also is wonderful as it slightly resembles a cherry flavored NOS. I love most red drinks, and this seems to resemble those closely. The taste is not nearly as bold as amp overdrive (cherry) or resemble medicine like NOS Power Punch (also cherry), but I would compare Adrenaline Shoc to those flavors if I had to choose. Adrenaline Shoc is highly redrinkable due to its delicious taste, smoothness, and overall effect.
Downside
The can is super boring. Shoc Wave probably has one of the worst cans I have seen. I like the brand name as it sounds like it will give you adrenaline and shock you into having unlimited energy. The only problem is the logo is silver and looks like a pair of straightened legs walking across a black background. There is a little bit of a red underline, and the font is cool, but overall it is boring to me. The good thing is that this is the biggest downside of Adrenaline Shoc. I love essentially every other aspect of this beverage.
Upshot
Adrenaline Shoc has everything you need. It is a great tasting drink that packs a punch. It is smooth as not to distract you from your activity and has enough caffeine to wake you up for a while without a crash. It is zero Calories and is designed for athletes (although I personally do not prefer to use it that way). I gave it an 8.9 out of 10 overall. The kick is great, the taste is wonderful, and my arbitrary enjoyment of the beverage is above most. The only reasons I did not give it higher than 8.9 are because the appearance is awful (not a huge factor, but enough to be considered in overall ranking) and while it does have everything needed, it lacks that special uniqueness I look for in drinks that I would consider for a 10 out of 10 rating.
