BANG Purple Guava Pear
The carbonation + sweetness is crisp, and since the taste isn’t insane, I could see myself reaching for this drink again.

Introduction
Bang has been so hit or miss for me, so with Bang Purple Guava Pear I don’t know what to expect. I am excited, since I feel like pears are underrepresented in the beverage market and I’m a big fan of guava. Not sure what “Purple” entails, but I guess we’re about to find out.
Taste

I wish the guava and pear flavors were more pronounced, since they’re somewhat drowned out by a strong, sugary aftertaste. But nonetheless, that sweetness comes through really smooth. The carbonation + sweetness is crisp, and since the taste isn’t insane, I could see myself reaching for this drink again. In other words, great re-drinkability potential.
Appearance

Typical bang can; just with a color scheme of purple, yellow, and silver. I’ve been outspoken about not liking the design, so I’ll stick with an average 5. Pours out clear (wow, I’ve been deceived by the Purple marketing) with medium carbonation.
Kick

300mg of caffeine and the classic Bang energy blend with Amino Acids and Super Creatine. In an attempt to control my caffeine addiction I usually keep my 300mg drinks to a minimum, but for you junkies out there this has an excellent kick.
Conclusion
Overall, I would absolutely recommend this drink. If you’re a guava, pear, or purple (LOL) hater, still give it a chance since those flavors don’t come through too strong.
