Mtn Dew Rise Peach Mango Dawn is extremely refreshing. The taste is above average, but the Mountain Dew taste is a bit distracting. If you enjoy Mountain Dew more than I do, then you will probably love this. The kick is lackluster, but the refreshing flavor makes up for it big time.
Upside
The flavor is extremely refreshing. It is a light and overall enjoyable beverage. It also has 180mg of caffeine (11.25mg/floz), which is enough to wake you up without making you jittery.
Downside
The mouthfeel and Mountain Dew aftertaste are the main downsides to me. These go hand in hand because I do not think that Mountain Dew has a mouthfeel that rivals the major energy drink brands.
Upshot
I really enjoyed this refreshing beverage, but cannot overlook the Mountain Dew taste and mouthfeel. If you enjoy Mountain Dew, which seemingly most of our audience does, then you will appreciate this more than I did. I really enjoyed this flavor and thought that it was better than the Rise other selections, so I would still recommend this to most people despite its mediocre 7.5/10 rating.
